As part of the project the companies created a block chain infrastructure and unified industrial block chain network for interaction between themselves and counteragents. The block chain register contains encoded information about the manufacturer, certificate number and date of issue, product name, its status and link to the electronic certificate. The consumer can check the authenticity of the certificate by its number and manufacturer code at the special resource access to which is available at Pipe Industry Development Fund web site. This block chain technology ensures reliable security from unauthorized changes. Based on expert estimates, the project will allow to reduce counterfeit goods volumes in the pipe market by 15-20 billion rubles.
The project was implemented with the participation of SAP CIS specialists on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The project was supported by Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE). RUIE members believe that this project can become a part of the unified digital ecosystem of the metallurgic industry.
