On November 19, the TASS press center hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Quality Games: Is a new Image of Building Materials possible?" organized by the National Scientific Competence Center for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Rosstandart, the FAA "Federal Center for Normalization, Standardization and Technical Conformity Assessment in Construction", the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Union of Cement, Cable and Pipeline Manufacturers, representatives of the higher school took part in discussion on measures for combating illicit trafficking in building materials.
The conference was moderated by Irina Bushina, Director of the ANO "National Scientific Competence Center in the field of combating Illicit trafficking in industrial products."
The main topic of the conference was countering the illegal trafficking in building materials in the Russian Federation and in the EAEU countries using the example of cement, building mixes and other products. The participants discussed the causes of the spread of the counterfeit products in the cement market, the main directions of implementation of the state policy on combating its illicit trafficking, measures to combat illegal cement trafficking, their necessity and sufficiency to reduce the rate of the counterfeit in the construction market.
Among the speakers of the conference are Vladislav Zaslavsky, Director of the Department for the Digital Marking of Goods and Legalization of Products Turnover of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Pavlovich, Head of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Licensing, Control and Supervisory Activities, Accreditation and Self-Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Development, Aizhan Bizhanova, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Iskender Asylkulov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and others.
During the event, scientific approaches to the development of effective mechanisms and practical measures to counter illegal cement trafficking, advanced experience and modern practices for detecting and combating faked cement products were considered.
The conference facilitated the exchange of experience and the establishment of the constructive dialogue in the field of implementation of scientific and practical mechanisms for countering illicit trafficking in building materials, in particular cement, in the construction market.
The resolution developed during the conference will be sent to the Office of the State Commission for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products.
