“Product Quality Control”, a magazine for product manufacturers and quality experts, issue №5 for 2021 co-authored by BT GROUP and Russian State Oil & Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin, published the article “Prevention of inauthentic, falsified or counterfeit components”.
The article sets the task of prevention of illegal trafficking of industrial products incl. prevention of use of components with doubtful quality and origin used for manufacture (fabrication) of complex process equipment.
It also gives the results of summarized practical experience of BT GROUP on the basis of inspection support of the largest fuel & energy projects in Russia and abroad.
The article describes a package of measures aimed at combating illegal trafficking of industrial products, provides a classification and description of the most wide-spread features of doubtful components.
